Maison SavoirVille – A journey of pieces, icons and virtuosity.
SavoirVille was founded by Lamprini Goli, a civil engineer, designer and creator who delicately obscures the boundaries of art, fashion and architecture with a singular vision for marble furniture.
Lamprini’s story unfolded humbly as she boarded a one-way flight to Italy, where she studied civil engineering, intrigued by form and structure and intoxicated by new discoveries. In the following years, Lamprini moved between 16 worldly homes – Zurich, Chicago, Milan, London and Hong Kong – discovering her calling as an engineer in a world that took her underground, inspiring a fascination that would become her own odyssey of adventure and alignment.
Through her work and travels, Lamprini collects little fragments from around the globe – notes of architecture and design, stories of people and destinations steeped in history and intrigue. Through her fascination for enduring Italian design and effortless French fashion, her concept for SavoirVille evolved into a dialogue between art and her modus operandi: a mathematical way of thinking that meets seductive creations.
‘I desire to create an haute couture interior under my signature,’ she said when discovering the intrinsic virtuosity of masonry, which she translates into hand-crafted marble furniture with excellence and a curious nod to the mysterious musings of Ithaca – an enchanting Ionian island swathed in ancient mythology and legend.
